Kathleen Clements Design

Clements' first nationally recognized design project was in 1995 with the opening of her shop, Sister Agnes, on New Orleans’ famed Magazine Street. Filled with antiques and furnishings from France, England, Belgium and the U.S., she transformed a 1920s shotgun cottage into a chic and intimate progression of room vignettes where she entertained clients including Bunny Williams, Ann Holden, Kitty Hawks, and Nicky Haslem.

Following the success of Sister Agnes, Clements was tapped by executives at the last privately held Ralph Lauren store to design a space in which to showcase the home collection as well as some unique antique pieces hand-selected by Clements from abroad.

Clements’ work has been featured in Elle Décor, Metropolitan Home, Southern Accents, House Beautiful, Food & Wine Magazine, and Design Times. Her portfolio includes residential projects in Barbados, Manhattan, Saratoga Springs, Miami, Sewickley and Fox Chapel, PA, Chicago, Lexington, KY, Malibu, Beverly Hills, Santa Monica and Southhampton.

Clements is currently a partner in Brady Gray, a retail showroom located in Scottsdale, Arizona, featuring her signature line of home furnishings and a unique blend of American and European antiques.
